GUIDING PRINCIPLES FOR THE FORMATION OF HUMAN SOCIETY IN THE LIGHT OF THE PROPHETIC BIOGRAPHY (SEERAH OF THE PROPHET)
Abstract
This paper explores the foundational principles of social development in light of the Seerah of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ. It demonstrates how the Prophet ﷺ established a balanced, just, and compassionate society in Medina by implementing divine principles. The study identifies core values such as monotheism (Tawheed), justice, equality, brotherhood, consultation, mercy, economic fairness, and the pursuit of knowledge. Through historical examples, including the Charter of Medina and economic policies like zakat and prohibition of usury, the Prophet ﷺ provided a model for social reform that remains relevant today. The research emphasizes that societal transformation begins with the purification of the individual through spiritual connection with Allah, followed by collective responsibility towards fairness, rights, and duties. Education is shown to be a key element in sustaining ethical and aware societies. The paper concludes that the Prophet’s ﷺ guidance offers comprehensive solutions for modern social issues such as inequality, poverty, and injustice. If implemented, these principles can foster a peaceful, just, and progressive comunnty.
