Abstract

The services of Muslims are of great value. For this reason, every person considers it a matter of pride for himself to record the circumstances of the life of the Prophet of the time. Among the Arabs, describing the virtues and virtues of strong heroes was their most beloved pastime, and they were excellent at this. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) also liked to listen to good poems and golden deeds of the era of ignorance and often smiled after listening to them. During the era of the Companions, the study of Seerah began with Maghazi, as if Maghazi was considered Seerah, in which the battles of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) were mentioned. As Abdullah ibn Abbas (may Allaah be pleased with him) relates, I used to ask the great Muhajireen and Ansar companions about the Maghazi of the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him). The Companions (may Allaah be pleased with them) also had a broad and broad view of other aspects of the Prophet’s (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) life, apart from Maghazi, and they would pass them on to the people with honesty. With the passage of time, historians started writing books on the biography regularly, initially with anecdotes, then later detailed events were recorded, then there was a time when a thematic work was done on the biography of the Prophet (peace be upon him). The books of biography were translated from Arabic into other languages, Urdu is a specialty of the language, hardly any other language has such a detailed work that covers every aspect of the biography. This is evidence that Muslims have a deep love for studying the biography of the Prophet (peace be upon him) and they also have a deep understanding of it.
