AI tools have emerged as useful resources for improving academic writing abilities, especially for ESL students. This study uses a pretest-posttest design to examine how Meta AI impacts the academic writing performance of University of Sialkot BS English students. SPSS software was used to analyze the data, which included t-tests, frequency, percentage, and mean. The pretest results indicated that students had poor academic writing abilities, specifically in vocabulary, grammar, sentence structure, and organization. Following the intervention, the posttest scores significantly improved, exhibiting improved academic tone, coherence, and grammar. According to the study’s findings, learner autonomy and personalized, real-time feedback are two ways that AI systems like Meta AI can effectively promote language acquisition. This study adds to the expanding field of educational technology by emphasizing how AI can improve ESL students’ academic performance and language ability.
